Archbishop Naumann interviews Neil Brown, president of the local chapter of Calix Society and their Chaplain, Fr. Viet Nguyen.

Calix is an association of Catholic alcoholics, drug addicts, and family members and friends affected by addiction, who are maintaining their sobriety through participation in their Catholic faith and a 12 Step program.

Are you currently in a 12-Step Recovery or Support Group? Would you like to talk with other Catholics about how they have incorporated their Catholicism into the 12 Steps?

Welcome to the Calix Society- Shawnee Mission Chapter. We meet one evening each month (usually first Friday of each month) at Church of the Ascension -7:00 p.m. private Mass followed by a meeting & fellowship.  The Calix Society is a national association of Catholics in 12-Step recovery (open to all addictions). Please note: The Calix Society is not meant to replace your current 12-step program…Just enhance it! For information on our local meetings, call Neil at 913-645-7244, or Mary 913-747-5039.
